Bangladesh to buy six new ships from China

As indicated by an official statement Bangladesh will purchase six new ships from China at a cost of Taka 1,843 crore.

"Each ship will have 39,000 tons limit. The six boats three oil tankers and three mass transporters will be included with Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) inside 2018," the public statement read citing an authority.

The discharge likewise said that Taka 1,448 crore will be subsidized by Chinese government while the rest Taka 395 crore will originate from BSC's own particular store.

Among the boats, three oil tankers will be utilized for transporting foreign and refined oil of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) while others will be utilized to convey coal, manure, and different wares.

In the interim, three-part assignment headed by Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan has officially left for China the previous evening to talk about this.
